The Diet of the “Truth About Abs”
“The Truth About Six-Pack Abs” is one of the most popular abs-building programs in the world. It has been sold in almost every country in the world, even in third-world countries, making it a very widespread program. This is all due to its success. In fact, almost every customer who has reported results has given positive feedback to the program. Of course, this is not due to chance. This program is an information-based program, which does not require meetings or other structured aspects. In addition, every piece of information provided is based both on the science of how the body works, and Mike Geary’s – the man who created the “Truth About Abs Review” program – personal experience. Because the program is so extensive, this will only cover the diet portion of the program.
Geary does not delve deeply into the science of how the human body processes food. After all, this is not just a diet program. Those that have been unable to build abs until now probably do not have the time to study anatomical processes extensively. However, he does point out that certain types of food tend to be more difficult for your body to process than others are. Thus, he suggests limiting your intake of such foods. However, unlike some of the more radical diet programs, Geary does not claim that health experts are wrong. He supports their claims, within reason, of course.
For those that assume they will just be eating vegetables, fear not. Geary provides several meal plans, all of which involve very delectable dishes, which include plenty of meat. These plans also involve eating smaller meals, but more of them. He suggests eating a few hundred calories worth of food every few hours, with the total calorie intake each day depending on the person. Geary also helps you determine just how much you should be eating each day. This is done by first calculating a value that represents your metabolic rate. By using this number, several of your physical features (such as weight), age, and gender, you can determine how many calories you need to eat to maintain your current weight. From there you just need to eat a few hundred less to start losing weight. However, you cannot simply cut this number in half. That would push your body into what is known by many as “starvation mode.” In this state, your body processes food much more slowly, and it becomes much easier to gain weight. It also slows your metabolism, making it more difficult to lose weight in the end.
Geary also provides information on where you can get much of the food he suggests you eat. By doing this, he takes some of the burden off your shoulders, and he makes the program more accessible to more people.
